Safety at USF
The ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ System maintains a comprehensive Emergency Notification System (ENS), called AlertUSF, for the purpose of issuing immediate notification to keep the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏcommunity informed and safe during an emergency situation. There is also a free app you can download called the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏSafe App.
Setting Up Your ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏNetID
Your NetID allows you to access various online services offered through the university. Students, faculty, staff, and scholars should create a NetID to begin using these services. For more information, please contact Information Technology at (813) 074-1222 or help@usf.edu.
Cell Phones
When choosing a cell phone provider, make sure to ask if there is a special plan for students or discounts for ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏstudents as well as what's needed to set up a service plan. You may also want to consider how much data you'll need, international calling options, text message plans, and how many individuals will be on the account. Some providers require a Social Security Number (SSN) and may require a background check.
