Transfer Success Specialists

Transfer Success Specialists assist and support undergraduate students who have transferred from a state/community college or another four-year institution with the aspiration of completing their first bachelor’s degree at USF. Transfer students are assigned to Transfer Success Specialists in cohorts once they enroll at ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏand remain with their assigned specialist through graduation.

Transferring can be a complex process, and transfer students often balance other roles and responsibilities as they are navigating a new institution and working toward graduation.  With this in mind, we know that transfer students experience unique circumstances and barriers that may impact their degree progression. Our specialists work individually with transfer students to provide academic options, resources, and strategies for academic success through proactive and timely outreach.  We seek to engage and understand students’ strengths as a means of assisting them with developing a personalized plan that promotes their academic success.
