est. 2003
In 2003, a small and dedicated group of ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏfaculty, administrators, and donors came together to launch the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏHumanities Institute. Lead by Dr. William H. Scheuerle, their goal was to bring established scholars and artists to ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏas well as promote research in the humanities by our own faculty. They recognized that investment in humanities research was a critical component in USF's goal of being a nationally renowned research university.
The ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏHumanities Institute continues to grow and facilitate research, innovation, and community involvement in the humanities.
