Eight undergraduate seniors and juniors from the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ (USF) have been selected for a challenging and rewarding research program funded by the National Science Foundation. The objective of the project is to develop a renewable energy source based on a novel scientific concept, with the goal of making basic commodities accessible to rural and tribal villages in Africa (ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏCollege of Arts & Sciences).

The MUMA College of Business opened a new lab with 20 stations, all equipped with the latest facial expression, eye tracking and skin response technology. Research subjects are asked to look at different restaurant menus on the computer and after only a few minutes sensors are able to document what items they focused on and what emotions the subjects were feeling regarding those items (WFTS).
