For the past month, demonstrators around the world have protested police brutality following the killings of black Americans such as George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Tony McDade. Chants of “Black lives matter” and “No justice, no peace” have filled the streets around Tampa Bay. Fed up with what they see as a criminal justice system rife with racial injustice, many current protesters are calling for police reform, and others for more drastic measures.

For decades, people diagnosed with familial hypercholesterolemia have been instructed to minimize their consumption of saturated fats to lower cholesterol and reduce their risks of heart disease. But a new study published in the prestigious journal “BMJ Evidence-Based Medicine” found no evidence to support those claims.

He has successfully consolidated USF’s three campuses, raised over $115 million and continues to lead through the complexities resulting from COVID-19, making Currall’s first year in office one of the most eventful time periods since Թϱwas established in 1956.
