New cardio equipment in the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏCampus Recreation Center allows users to convert their workout into electricity. ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏis the first college or university in Florida to have 12 SportsArt ECO-POWR treadmills, ellipticals and indoor cycles.

Brian Kornfeld left his job as an aerospace engineer in California and returned home to Florida, where he earned an MBA from USF. The move led to the creation of Synapse, a nonprofit that brings together aspiring entrepreneurs and helps them launch successful startups in the Tampa Bay region and across Florida.
