Florida Board of Governors confirms Rhea Law as ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s eighth president
The Florida Board of Governors (BOG) voted unanimously to confirm Rhea Law as the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s next president. Law, who was selected unanimously by the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏBoard of Trustees (BOT) last week, is the first ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏalum to fill the role.

ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏfeatures 13 graduate programs ranked in the top 50 among all public and private institutions, led by industrial and organizational psychology at No. 3, public health at No. 16, and the audiology and criminology programs both ranked No. 18. USF’s nursing master’s degree and industrial engineering programs continue to rise in the ranks, with both entering the top 50 this year.

Rhea Law selected as ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ president-elect
The ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Board of Trustees voted unanimously to name Rhea Law as the university’s president-elect. Law, who has been USF’s interim president since August, will become the university’s eighth president and the first ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏalum to fill the role, pending confirmation by the Florida Board of Governors (BOG) next week.

The ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ (USF) College of Education was awarded a $1 million grant by the Florida Department of Education to develop a new series of oral history resources that will be used by educators, school districts and the public as part of Florida’s revised civics education curriculum.
