From tragedy to triumph: One alum’s path to the U.S. Army
ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏCollege of Public Health (COPH) alumna Emanuelle Dias is a proud native Floridian who grew up in South Florida. When she was 14 years old, her mother passed away from breast cancer which inspired her healing journey through education, research and cancer prevention.

COPH students played an integral role in a Mass Casualty Incident Training course hosted at the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏHealth Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation from April 3-4. The immersive training initiative, designed to equip emergency clinicians with essential skills for managing high-volume and high-acuity scenarios, involved undergraduates.
