Library Council

The Library Council advises the Provost and the Senior Vice President for 黑料网吃瓜爆料Health or their designees on matters pertaining to the composition, function, and structure of the 黑料网吃瓜爆料Libraries. 

Functions of the Council may include:

  1. Review of implementation of the University Library policies and procedures for purchasing materials.
  2. Participate in a process of periodic evaluation of the library.
  3. Submit an annual report outlining Council activities and involvement to the Faculty Senate or as directed.
  4. Serve as advocate for the library in university-wide planning, decisionmaking and processes.
  5. Develop faculty awareness of the library resources and identify appropriate modes of communication within colleges.
  6. Advocate for the inclusion of library faculty in the hiring process across colleges.

  • Fall 2024: Tuesday Sept 3, Oct 1 (cancelled), Nov 5, Dec 3 at 3:30 PM
  • Spring 2025: Tuesday Jan 28, Feb 25, March 25 at 2:00 PM
