Dr. Kofi Acheaw Owusu, a senior lecturer in the Department of Science Education in the College of Educational Studies, University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana, recently spoke about Ghana’s journey in education, bringing to the forefront the gains and struggles of the education system from pre-colonial to the current dispensation. This past summer, he worked with ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏfaculty on an NSF funded project to engage Ghanaian high school students in authentic science research related to water and sanitation issues. He is currently visiting ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏto further collaboration between UCC and USF.
