Biography
Dr. Amanda K. LeBlanc is a Visiting Professor of Instruction of in the Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ (Tampa, Florida). She has an M.A. from this department (2009) and an M.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado at Boulder (2014). Her Ph.D. is in Communication from the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ (2018). Her research explores the relationship of media to culture, power, and identity, through a feminist, anti-racist, and queer lens. Dr. LeBlanc’s recent publications include an article in Critical Studies in Media Communication about American Horror Story and a book chapter on the Broadway musical Hamilton.
