Dr. Greg McCreery received his Ph.D. from the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ in 2016 under the direction of Dr. Stephen Turner. McCreery’s primary interests lie within philosophies of political violence and nonviolent civil disobedience. He has published a heavily revised version of his dissertation as Political Disagreement, Violence and Nonviolence: An Analysis of Political Ideologies and their Distinctions between Kinds of Violence (Lexington, 2023). He has also published articles and symposia. Besides political philosophy, his other areas of interest include applied ethics (particularly environmental and biomedical), ancient philosophy, existentialism, phenomenology, and aesthetics.
