Bio
Dr. Sandberg, a native of Sweden, completed his B.S. and M.A. degrees at the University of Central Florida and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Florida. He joined the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ faculty in 2018. His fields of specialty are International Trade and the Economics of Globalization. Dr. Sandberg is currently the Associate Department Chair and Undergraduate Program Director in the Department of Economics.
He has previously held faculty positions at the University of Florida (where he also served as Undergraduate Coordinator) and Flagler College. Over the years, Dr. Sandberg has proven himself to be a highly committed, effective educator and has won several teaching awards and accolades.
During his career, he has taught a broad range of courses, including Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, Analytical Tools for Economists, Quantitative Methods (undergraduate and graduate), Data Analysis, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Intermediate Price Theory, Price Analysis, International Economics, International Trade and Policy, Environmental Economics, Economic Development, Economic Issues, and Economics of Agribusiness.
